East Dallas Pet Rescue is a 501(3)(c) non profit organization that typically rescues our dogs from the streets or animal shelter that sees very HIGH volumes of abandoned dogs.
East Dallas Pet Rescue is an all-volunteer animal rescue organization that specializes in saving animals scheduled to be euthanized because shelters lack room and funding. These dogs/puppies are wonderful and they are only put down because they have no owners to claim & adopt them in time. These dogs are all waiting for that miraculous second chance in life that they so deserve.
Our animals stay in loving foster homes through out the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex where they are socialized, loved and evaluated to determine the best type of environment for their personalities. All animals receive their appropriate vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper, Parvo and Bordetella before adoptuion

We would love to have more foster homes in the Dfw Metroplex that are willing to open their homes to a abandoned dog for a few weeks or few months. If fostering might not be for your family then we would love more volunteers. We are always looking for extra help for events, adoptions and socialization of strays. We do require a background check to become a foster. Please submit a foster application and a coordinator would be happy to reach out.
